I find it surprising that only about 2% of employees whose payroll I process choose to receive their payslips by email. With an emailed payslip, you can save it to your hard drive, access it whenever you like and never lose it, providing you backup, of course. They also show much employers national insurance is being paid on your behalf and your address. They are password protected, so can be kept secure.
So, why is it people like the paper ones so much? I don’t know, but I still write the odd cheque, so I can’t talk!
