From 1 October 2012, you must make sure that you pay your employees at least the new minimum rates. The new hourly rates are:
- Workers aged 21 and over – £6.19 (from £6.08)
- Workers aged 18 to 20 – £4.98 – no change
- Workers aged 16 and 17 – £3.68 – no change
- Apprentices – £2.65 (from £2.60)
